Our Little One

Today a 7 pound, 20 inch, button nosed, knobby kneed, chubby cheeked little man was born!  I may be a little biased, but I think he might just be the cutest little baby in the whole wide world :D  Even though while I was typing that I’m pretty sure he just made a mess in his diaper, I still think he’s the cutest baby in the whole world!

Holy Moly!

I should have Thomas do a “shameless plug” for our blog more often! Yesterday we had 86 views which smashed our previous record for visits in one day (it was 30, by the way.) Now we’re only 25 hits away from 1,000! Woo hoo :D

Part one of our anniversary turned out pretty well. I got to talk to Thomas for a little bit and my mom made a delicious chocolate cake. I may have eaten a bit too much though since I ended feeling seriously full! I guess when a baby is taking up 90% of your abdomen there isn’t as much room for cake. :)

Part two of our anniversary (where we actually get to see each other and go out on a date!) is just a few short weeks away. Hooray for two times the celebration!

My Dream Vacation

My dream vacation is this September. After Thomas is home. After William is born. After we drive from Arkansas to California. After we get our new house. After we move everything out of the storage unit. After the last box is unpacked and the last dish put away. After all the chaos is over.

To have a week at home with my husband and my son.

To be able to talk to my best friend any time I want to.

To know that we are all in the same place at last.

Bliss.

Fun Little Blog Prompts

Sometimes I want to post something, but nothing noteworthy has happened. There is a lot of waiting around in my life and that doesn’t always make for the most interesting blog posts. So I signed up for plinky.com, a site that gives you fun little questions to answer. So enjoy the first of my fun little blog prompts!

My Favorite Quote of All Time

I don’t know if it counts as a quote per se, but since it’s my answer I’ll say that it does. “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11 Because that is the most comforting thing I have ever heard in my whole life. No matter what, God has a plan and that plan is for good!
